Halloween is coming soon, and maybe that's why Jenn Stringer submitted this "batty" memory.

I worked at Meyer in the late 1980's for the circulation department. One evening while shelving, I pushed a book truck into the elevator and a bat flew in too! The doors closed before I could get out and I spent one terrifying trip to the 3rd floor cowering behind the book truck screaming. I'm not sure who was more frightened...the bat or me!
